Michael Rosen is a partner at Saxon, Gilmore, Carraway & Gibbons, P.A.  He practices in the areas of eminent domain, property litigation, civil litigation, government law and consumer litigation.  Mr. Rosen is a seasoned litigator who has over 20 years of trial experience.  His legal experience in handling matters ranging from routine property acquisition to multi-million dollar cases involving a variety of complex issues gives him a unique perspective in analyzing the issues and structuring negotiation to maximize the benefits to our clients.  He graduated from the Walter F. George School of Law Mercer University, in 1987.  He received an undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Florida in 1984.  He is a member of the Florida and Georgia Bars and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.

Mr. Rosen has significant experience in handling claims arising under various consumer protection statutes, including without limitation, the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, 15 U.S.C. 1692 et seq. (FDCPA); the Florida Consumer Collection Practices Act, Fla. Stat. 559.55 et seq. (FCCPA); the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15U.S.C 1681 et seq. (FCRA); the Federal Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, 12 U.S.C 2601 et seq. (RESPA); and, the Federal Truth In Lending Act, 15U.S.C 1601 et seq. (TILA).

Mr. Rosen is also an arbitrator and is certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a mediator. He is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar and the Florida Bar, the Georgia Bar, Association of Eminent Domain Professionals, Certified Mediator, Florida Supreme Court and Court Qualified Arbitrator. Mr. Rosen is AV rated in the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.
